Dancing Queen

Yesterday, Deny and I had lunch at 1001 Nights. We both ordered Scotch Fillet Steak. The food there is always finger-licking good. The steaks are well marinated and so juicy. You could see the juice seeping out of the steak when you cut it through. Yep it is that good. And the steak is not served with any sauce whatsoever. Just plain marinated steak. I love eating there. Its yummy, cheap and the people are very friendly.. good combo! Its only $10 for scotch fillet steak with salads and a choice of chips or mashed potato.

So after lunch, we went to Indro to pick up my Dancing Stage Mega Mix (with the dancing mat) and Breville Grill from the PO. I am so loving both of them. As you probably have guessed, we had grilled chicken for tea using my new Breville Grill. There is a huge different between grilling in the oven griller thing and grilling on the Breville Grill. The chicken is so much juicier on the Breville Grill. Im glad I bought it. I am also glad I bought the Dancing Stage Mega Mix. It is hella fun to dance on the mat. We played from afternoon till night, only taking a break when we had to go to return the DVDs to BlockBuster. On our way to BlockBuster, we saw Ricki-Lee (last season Aus Idol finalist) signing autographs in Indro Mall. Here's a pic of Ricki-Lee (I managed to take a pic of her from far away):

Deny, Nate and I had lunch at Nando's. We had mixed platter (half chicken, 5 wings and 4 tenderloins) and a hot whole chicken and a jumbo peri-peri chips.

I didnt take many pictures cos I didn't have my digicam with me. All I had was my moby camera. The quality aint that good especially pics taken in dark places as you can see below:


Nevertheless, I took a couple pics when we got back home with my digicam...

Anyway, the main course for the night was thai roasted chicken breast on top of asian greens with coconut risotto and the dessert was tiramisu and white chocolate and vanilla bean anglaise. I know it sounds so yummy but to be honest, they werent even half as good as Deny's cooking (jan kambang ahh!). Well, IMO the highlights of the night has got to be the slideshow and the Asmaradana dance. Overall, it was a pretty fun night cos we all got to dress up even though I was a bit dissapointed with the food.

I've always thought Australia is a tiny lil place (compared to big countries).. I was very wrong!

I had a videocall wid Chris today. He was singing on the phone hehe so cute! Anyways, Deny and I still have 3 movies left to watch. We are taking a break now from watching Edward Scissorhands.. I love that movie!! Oh here comes Deny wid food *Yay* Gotta go watch another movie now..

Last night, I was chatting wid Chris on the phone.

Today, Deny and I went to Blockbuster. Took us ages to pick the movies, we ended up renting Dunston Checks In, Edward the Scissorhand, Serendipity, Legally Blonde 2, Resident Evil 2 and Princess Blade. Then we went to Red Rooster to get 4 chocolate mousse *Yum yum* Deny is addicted to them. After that we went to Boost Juice Bar. I had Raspberry Relief (used to be called Stress Relief but without the stress relief boost) and Deny had Passion Mango.

We are gunna have a good movie marathon today *Yippee*

Dry Cell breaking up?!!

Ahh big news.. people have been spreading some rumours about Dry Cell breaking up but the truth is...

"Dry Cell did not break up, what has happened is Danny decided one day to leave the band, which meant Dry Cell loosing its guitarist and possibly its budget behind the band (this I do not know).I recently learned that Jeff Gutt also decided it was best to leave the band (for reasons unknown).Dry Cell have technicaly broken up, but the remaining members (Judd and Brandon) have decided to keep things going. With this vast change to the lineup things will be extremely different, the chances of the name Dry Cell being kept are pretty much slim to none, the music will be alot heavier and appeal to the metal fans more. Busy week

I've been so busy for the past few days! Byk assignments =( and today I sat for Chemistry II mid semester exam. Didnt feel like exam... maybe cos im tired dah exam balik-balik, boring plang, rasanya mcm buat test saja. The exam was ok, some of them inda logic..for example:

Whats the freezing point of 1 molal NiCl2? (Kf=1.86 deg celcius/molal)

What the?!! hehe hafal ku da question, cana inda, I read it umpteen times! So if anyone tau the answer, please let me know!

Im gunna go hit the pillow now.. so tired from 3 days of uni in a row!

Like Good Old Days

Was chatting wid my friends on MSN last night.. boleh semua online at da same time... jarang tu ah! At first, Amalia online then Nuar (he signed off later), then Ruza, then Col then Aka.. hehe siok eh! So in one chat window, we gossiped the night away lol Aku mau balik Brunei!!! All Ruza's and Col's faults! adakah ckp sal Satay.. sia-sia pun! Anyway, we (Aka and I) got Amalia's permission to go to her place next weekend *Yippee* then we might go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Southbank *double Yippee* bah jangan spooooilll da movie!!

By the way, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory will be on channel Nine tonight at 8.30 pm for the Brissy-ans! So better go buy tons of chocolates to watch infront of TV tonight!
