Here comes Autumn

I am loving Autumn! Perfect weather to curl up in bed, drinking hot chocolate and thats exactly what I am doing at the moment... feels so cosy and relaxing! Uni has just started this week. It wasnt as hectic as I have expected but then again its only been 5 days into Uni. I actually enjoy going to all my lectures apart from BioInstrumentation which I have every Monday from 7 till 9 at night. Not so convenient for me but since BioInstrumentation involves Physics, my weakest subject, I have to force myself to attend the lecture. Physics just doesnt make any sense to me. Like, the reason why when you sit on a chair, the chair doesnt crumble, is because the chair exerts some kind of force upward so the 'sitting force' and the 'upward force' balance each other so the chair doesnt wreck and you dont fall down. Wtf? Its just a bloody wood, how come it can exert such force! If anyone got strong physics background, please tutor me (I promise I wont be such an ass asking why, but why? and why?!!!). So back to Uni, I am taking 4 subjects this semester: BioInstrumentation, Biochemistry, Neuroscience I and Physiological Science II. Its going to be hard this semester but as the saying goes, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.. I am gunna have to work my ass off - go to lectures, do tutorial tasks, get all assignments done on time, do some readings.. oh who am i kidding! Everything but reading, I'll do!

This morning, I was reading mea's blog on friendships and I am still gobsmacked to realise that most of us have been friends for almost a decade. That is a huge number! Maybe we can all go out one day and celebrate a decade of friendships =)

Oh by the way, the reason why we dont say I love you or do the hug and kiss thing a lot is because IMO not because we dont love each other, it's just that we prefer to keep our feelings to ourselves. We know how much we meant to each other, why bother make people jealous of us flaunting our affection for each other, hehe nothing beats our friendships. Period.
