X-Men The Last Stand

I went to see the movie last night with Naz, Isz, Ben, Chucky and the rest at Aus Fair. I really like it.

I cant believe they killed off Cyclops in the beginning of the movie. He's my favourite X-Men along with Wolverine and Gambit (I swear if they dont bring Gambit in the next X-Men, I am going to throw bricks at Brett Ratner!!). Oh, and how lame was Storm? Without her power, she's so weak, even the Charlie's Angels can kick her ass! I am so so so disappointed with Storm. I hope Storm character grows more in the next X-Men. Also, Angel was only brought in for 5 mins.. he got a pair of pretty wings, I wanted to see more of him *sighs*. Basically, most of the X-Men characters either die or lose their powers in this movie.

Anyway, if you are going to watch this movie, there's a post-credit scene so keep your seats. Also, Shawn Ashmore is so yum!!

Brisvegas

I miss Brisbane already!

I went there last week for a night. First, I met up with Aka at her place then we decided to go to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. It's definitely my favourite-est shopping centre! We had sushis for lunch at Sushi Deli (Mmmm I want clam and zucchini sushi again). After that we went to Mambosa, where we both bought a pair of earrings. I love my new earrings, they are uber cool *hehe*

Now I got 6 pairs of earrings... I want moooooore! A girl can never have enough earrings. In fact, a girl can never have enough of anything.. shoes, tops, perfumes, watches, bags etc etc. inda ja? You always want more kan? =P

So yeah, we practically went into all the stores in Indooroopilly. I bought a pair of metallic havs, chicken fillets (hehe dont ask), 2 Giordano polo shirts (one for Deny =P) and other stuff.

After that, we went to Toowong Village to have dinner at Suncrane. hehe sanggup ani bah skadar kan makan fish teriyaki. They were so so good! I wish we had Suncrane in Gold Coast instead of the crappy Sushi 1. We dont have much choice when it comes to eating out here *sighs*. Here's me and Aka at Toowong Railway.



The next day, we had fried rice and sausages for breakfast. Then we went off to Premier Travel to book my ticket *Yippee* I booked to go to Brunei on the 25th June. About one more month from now *yay*

After Premier, we went to the City. I bought an Iriver T30 at Dick Smith then saw one for $16 cheaper at JB HiFi *Grrr* Dont you just hate that? I could buy at most 2 pairs of earrings with $16!

We went to Dreamy Donuts as well. I got the original glazed donut. I reckon someone who worked at Krispy Kreme squealed the recipe to Dreamy Donuts. They dont taste as good as Krispy Kremes but they are definitely better than most donuts. We then had lunch at Spice It Up (?). Yeah, we ate like all the time =P.

Rooting for Czech and Italy

I got my preliminary exam timetable for end of semester exam:

10 June - Bioinstrumentation
16 June - Physiological Science II
19 June - Neuroscience I
23 June - Biochemistry

I am not so happy with the timetable as it clashes with 2006 World Cup. Speaking of World Cup, come on Italy and Czech!!!!! *hehe* I am rooting for them to win the cup this year. I go for England and Australia too but I just dont think that they'll go far. Here are the teams that I'll be watching during World Cup:

Less than a month to go and I am already betting with a few people. A friend is betting on France or Netherland to win the cup. If he was right, I'd have to go out with him. I dont mind though, he's cute so it's pretty much a win-win situation for me. But damn, I really want Czech or Italy to win. I havent thought of what I want if I was right - gotta work on it tonight. So who else is up for a bet? *hehe* tag me your team!!

Back to exam, I am hoping I dont have to study for topics that have been assessed during mid semester exam. It would make my revision soooooo much easier. Since mid semester exam, I hardly go to lectures. I am still so exhausted from the exams and I find lectures useless as most lecturers usually just read the notes (hell, even I can do that) that I can download from uni website Its just not worth waking up at 8 in the morning! Just my 2 cents.

Happy Mum's Day!

Its Mother's Day today in Aus so I would like to wish all mothers Happy Mum's Day =)

I made spaghetti , did laundry and cleaned up my room this morning =) Feels reaally good to finally see the carpet after days of clutters. Yep, it was THAT messy!

Yesterday, I felt like having a date with myself so I went to Australia Fair on my own. It was so packed with people looking for Mother's Day gift that it felt like Christmas. First, I went to OK kebab to have lunch. I had chicken potato plate - I love the chicken, so juicy! Then I went to Jay Jays and bought a basic boob tube, a lacey jacket, a crop bolero and a pair of black jeans. After that, I went to BnT and bought Libby Short Stories bra.. its a perfect fit! Im loving it hehe. They are on sale now from $40 to $20 so better go and grab one girls =P! While I was at the counter to pay, I saw a cute washing bag so I bought it as well *hehe*. Then I went to Kmart and got myself a beaded long necklace. I also saw cropped Bonds hoodies on sale at Kmart for about $25 but I already got a blue one that I bought at David Jones. They are really cute! Before I went home, I bought fish and chips for takeaway and got myself a large coke + raspberry slurpie from 7-11!

I had soo much fun with myself!!! I am going to do this again next week, if I could. It feels so good to just forget everything and everyone and just concentrate on what you want for once. Try it!

*hehe* sorry for the lack of update. So many things were happening at the same time, I thought I was going insane! It was exam after exam for four weeks with a shitload of assignments to hand in. I was really knackered by the time the last exam was on, so fuck all, I didnt study (Fingers crossed for me). I really was considering to apply for special consideration or deferred exam but I couldnt be arsed to fill up the form and present supporting evidence. I was just so relieved that mid semester exams were finally over.

Anyway, there hasnt been many happenings thats worth to blog. You might have thought after all those exams and shits going on, I'd be out partying, if not shopping during the weekend. But nooo, something just had to ruin my weekend!! I didnt receive my allowance while everyone else did on Friday. I rang hi-comm yesterday and apparently, they missed me out. Of all people, why me??!!

Nevertheless, I did went out to shop a bit on Sunday. I bought Lindt chocolates (yes, thats plural), a bottle of coke zero, Arnott's Quatro (more chocolates), New Woman magazine (it comes with a gorgeous, silky, soft scarf), Nandos half chicken combo meal and other not-so-exciting stuff.

I am hoping to get my allowance this week so I can go buy an mp3 player and stuff for my family back home. 2 more months to go *whoohoo, does a lil dance*

By the way, Happy Birthday Warney! I hope you have a smashing time in Malaysia.

2 days ago, when I was cooking honey chicken for lunch, I had a lil chat with Tom and Djohn in the kitchen. The boys are always out and about when I am in the kitchen but strange enough, when I am in my bedroom, everyone is in their own bedroom too. Mum reckons durang mengintu aku memasak. hehe sounds about right! This kinda annoys me though because I dont like to cook with people around, watching me and my mediocre cooking skills.

Ok, back to the lil chat, Djohn and Tom were wondering about my real name. So, I told them that I got a long full name and all they need to know is Dee is short for Diyana. Then Djohn said, "Diyana is a good name, very popular, you know like Princess Diana". I think I've heard this zillionth times already, hehe. Then he asked, "so what is your chinese name?". Eh? I looked at him in disbelief, then looked at Tom and we both laughed. "I am not chinese". Wow, I couldn't believe I've lived with this guy for more than 2 months and all the time he thought that I was chinese. Whatever gave him that idea eh? Firstly I dont talk 24/7 and I dont go cau cin cau.

So, I corrected him and told him that I am from Brunei. As usual, the first thing that came to his mind was the rich sultan. Then from that, we talked about the rich middle eastern people. Tom was like, "How could you spit into a gold sink??" haha, these people are freaking rich. Then we talked about Tom's red hair (He is a natural redhead, hehe. I think it is cool cos it is hard to see redheads in Australia) and guessing everyone's age. Damn, I am not the youngest in the house!

Oh by the way, I wanna wish Happy belated Birthday to Mai whose birthday was on the 27th April and to Ben and Tom who share a birthday on the 29th April. Also, Happy advanced Birthday to Rara on the 4th May. I hope I dont miss anyone's birthday. If I do, dont stress.
