Sleek Hair

Finally, I cut my hair today :)

After

If you look closely, there isnt much difference except its much sleeker now and about an inch shorter and yeah, the pouting lol. Totally different fringe though.

I had my haircut at TMH Salon in Helensvale. It's pretty good but not as good as Oscar Oscar. I am giving up looking for a better hair salon. TMH is quite close to my place so I am thinking of just sticking to this one for awhile. It's pretty cheap too. I paid $59 for wash, head massage, hair treatment, cut, blow-dry, straighten by a Senior stylist. I was also given a glass of fresh orange juice hehe and a complimentary pack of KMS which includes the shampoo, conditioner and restructuring therapy. This price is only for a limited time though *boo hoo* Nevertheless, I am happy with the cut and the service :)

Right now, I am contemplating whether I should buy GHD or not... Ahh so in a dilemma!

Hung Hung video

Yesterday, the weather was unexpectedly cold and it was constantly raining lightly (not complaining!!) I went to Australia Fair again with Hjh and Feezal in the morning. I bought BJ Raspberry Relief and Pancake chicken and mushroom crepe before going to Uni to study. Did some tutorial questions on Organic Chemistry and read a bit of Exercise and Sports Behaviour textbook. I got one more week before mid semester exam.. Waaaaa!!!!

Hung Hung in the library.

Speaking of Hung Hung. I dont think I've ever explained what this is. Basically, we were just mocking the Young and Dangerous movies..so we called our circle of friends the Hung Hung society. Yes, we are so lame haha. So in our circle of friends, we get to elect one person aka the Boss to lead the group for a week. The Boss has to organise some activities for that week and in return get special treatments. But on the last day of being the Boss, he/she has to put on a pink hat all day long (but so far we havent stressed on this much yet which is a good thing hehe I would'nt wanna wear a huge pink hat to the stores) So yeah, being lame is cool hehe. This week Hjh is the Boss! Long Live Boss!!

Oh yeah, I've put up 2 more blogs for your reading pleasure (and mine):
Hjh's blog
Feezal's blog

Enjoy!!

Suuunnnnndddaaaayyyyy

It has been a very long sunday yesterday. To cut long story short and knowing me (yes, I am lazy when it comes to blogging), here's the timeline for yesterday:

6.00-10.00am: I woke up, stayed in bed for a bit then took a shower, got dressed. Cleaned my room. This is actually my daily morning routine. Now that I think of it, my morning is boring.

10.00-1.00pm: Feezal came over. We helped Hjh cooked fried noodles. Like any other meal, we had lunch in my room while watching dvd. This time, it was Arnie's Commando.

1.00-4.00pm: We went to uni to study. Met up with Isz there. Because I was in such a hurry, I left my notes at home so most of the time in the library, I just read the textbook. The rest, I was busy munching on junkies.

4.00-5.30pm: We went to Australia Fair to shop. Went into Jay Jays, Priceline (I bought KMS hair serum for $4 whoohoo!), had 50c soft serve ice cream cone at Maccas, Woolies for grocery shopping then Arigatou Sushi Teppanyaki to score some cheap sushis *Yay*. This was the main reason why we went to Aus Fair at the first place :)

5.30-6.30pm: We had the sushis at HJ. Then we went to the cinema to take pics with the huge-ass movie boards adverts. After that, we played DDR at the game arcade. It was fun but the game was written in chinese, or maybe japanese.... or was it korean??? =\ Well, they all look the same to me. So yeah, because of that, it was hard to navigate through the game. We ended up playing in 'single' mode and took turn to play as there was 5 rounds in a game. So stoopid! You'd think they'd have an English version of DDR in there.

6.30-7.30pm: Went to uni then walked home. I think everyone was high on adrenaline from DDR. So high that we sang National Anthem on top of our lungs (complete with choir shit) while walking down the street. I think we might have scared this Asian girl who was also walking there cos she didnt look back at us at all Haha. I doubt she would tumble across my blog but if she did, I am sorry for the noise pollution :)

7.30-8.30pm: Got home then realised I lost my camera. Hjh offered to go back to Australia Fair with me to look for the camera. On the way to Uni, Feezal wanted to come with us too. Long story short, we found the camera on the floor at the game arcade. Lucky no one saw it and stole it. We then went back to uni and walked back to Feezal's house cos Hjh wanted to do something.

8.30-9.00pm: Walked home from Feezal's house. Yay home sweet home!

Long weekend

I got no class on Friday for this week *Yay Yay*

So I got 3 days off uni. I still have no idea what to do apart from studying on Sunday. Mea just texted me if I am free this weekend because she might be coming down the Coast. Bah dtg tah, inda me larang hehe.

At the moment, I am watching a Bollywood movie that my housemate lent me. The movie is so corny but I have to watch the whole movie just in case he asked what I thought of it.. Ahh the pain! If it was an English movie, I would have pressed STOP and just read the review off the net (but in this case, its impossible) or read the summary on the back of the dvd..but hey, as if I can understand the language eh!

Hence the reason why I am updating my blog now.

Well I better go back to my movie.. wish me luck. Honestly, I need to pay more attention to the movie. I am totally clueless now and there's no fucking way I am gunna hit REWIND.

Signing off..

Youtube + Poker = Fun

Whoa I had no idea youtube can be so fucking addictive!! Yes, I am slow. I've just found out the next best thing on the Internet after the messengers. I mean, I've used youtube before but not as much as I am now. So so cool hehe. I am easily amused.

Anyway, last week has been a pretty busy and tiring week. I had labs and tutes and all things going on at the same time. It was hectic. Nevertheless I did enjoy it.. it and everything else including the 4-hours Organic Chemistry Lab. Geeky much? hehe. I also went to the Library on Sunday to study Exercise and Sport Behavior. Frankly, I actually feel good doing all this shit I've always avoided before :)

I work 'hard' and I play hard too. Hjh, Feez and I went to Isz's place again on Saturday. We were having food feast. Isz cooked sambal terung, Hjh cooked fried rice and I cooked buttermilk chicken. We had lunch, then Big Ben taught us how to play poker. Poker is quite fun actually. I am thinking of getting the poker set myself *Yay yay*

Anyway, yesterday, I accidentally left my room keys in my locked room. Waaaa I've never realised how attached I am to my room. I had all the windows locked too so I was screwed. Luckily the landlord got gazillions of spare keys. He was busy yesterday so I had to wait till 10.30pm before I could go to my room. NEVER again will I forget to take my keys with me. (Note to self: Make copies of them).

By the way, the photobucket is definitely working now.

Pics up!

So, ok.

Mea's been bugging me to update my blog and so has Ruza :P So here I am...

Am trying to settle down here as quickly as possible. There's so much things that I wanna do this semester. I wanna incorporate study time into my weekly schedule for the very first time. Hopefully I am disciplined and motivated enough to actually do it. I also wanna join some useful clubs too. Unfortunately none of the uni clubs interests me, apart from shooting. Gun shooting looks fun but it's a bit expensive and I dont think it's going to be useful to me. I mean we are not even allowed to own a gun back home, so whats the use? So I am thinking of joining any martial art club or dance club, outside uni. But so far, I am in no luck. But I got a back up plan though... if everything doesnt go my way, I am thinking of doing something new/different on my own. Like for example, play scooter around the neighbourhood (was thinking of rollerblading at first, but I have rollerbladed before), play remote control car, jog in the morning, go someplace new.. basically just learn about myself and this place more.

Speaking of someplace new...

I havent been to all the shopping centres in Gold Coast and Brissy. So that would be my first priority. I'd also like to go to Movieworld then Australia Zoo and Underwater World up in Sunshine Coast. Major place would be Melbourne or Sydney. I've been to Sydney but I haven't really explore the place.. so I might give it another shot. If anyone's interested to go to Melbourne or Sydney, please holler (the more people the merrier). If you have been to these places, please holler too.

OK, as promised I've put up pictures in my photobucket. Enjoy!!

Back to Aus

Gimme an A, Gimme a U, Gimme an S!!! Wow wow weee!

Ive just got back here on Monday morning at 2.30am. Lucky for me, there was a bus going to Gold Coast. It feels like only yesterday, I arrived in Brunei, happily giving out gifts to my family. Time flies so fast nowadays.

Days before I left Brunei, I honestly thought it'd be tougher to leave just because I've stayed in Brunei for too long. Long enough to be attached to everyone else. But surprisingly, I didnt cry at the Airport.

Of all the holidays that I went back to Brunei, this has got to be my favourite one. It was 3 months well spent. So many good memories =)

On the first day in Aus, I got a little homesick. Deny told me Alai got puffy eyes from crying cos she missed me so much. Waaa I love that girl! I brought with me her sketches of me and an anime figure. She's so good at drawing that I bought her a file so that she can keep her drawings in it. She wants to be a fashion designer and open her own shop called Pink Floss one day hehe so fricking cute!

I've been here for 4 days now and the homesickness slowly fades away =) This year, I am gunna make the most of my time here. Hjh is living at my place now *wow wow wee* I am no more snow white and the seven dwarves. And Feezal lives about 7 mins walk down the street. Now, its time to persuade Isz to move somewhere close hehehe. I reckon it's cool living in an all-Bruneians house but having a few people from other countries in the house wouldnt hurt as well. It would make living here more interesting and gives a worthwhile experience.

Anyway, I got class to go to. Sorry for the boring post. I will put up pics sometime soon when I blog next. Mwah Mwah.. god, I miss home!
