Slacker

I went to see the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean - At world's end 2 nights ago. It was a good movie and worth going to the cinema. Totally in love with Johnny Depp, he's fucking awesome at acting. Him and Leonardo DiCaprio. Love to see them both in the same movie :)

Anyway, I've been slacking for the last couple weeks, hence the lack of blog updates. I am trying to 'up' myself so I can start studying for the finals but it's really hard.. and the weather is not helping. It's getting colder and colder. Some days I honestly could hear the bed calling my name. Getting out of bed is definitely the biggest challenge of the day. I keep telling myself that I'd get out of bed after I snoozed the alarm.. but 9 minutes turn to 18 minutes and 18 minutes turn to 27 minutes.. then I wouldnt even be bothered getting up cos the lecture is starting soon and I havent even taken my shower.

But I promise myself to go to every lecture next week so we'll see how it goes. It's quite funny to see the lecture hall filled with students only during the first week and the last week of the semester. Obviously during the last week of the semester, everyone's hoping to get some hints on the finals. *Fingers crossed* I hopefully will get some valuable hints next week :)

Speeding

A police officer in a small town stopped a motorist who was speeding down Main Street. “But officer,” the man began, “I can explain.”
“Quiet!” snapped the officer. “I’m going to let you spend the night in jail until the chief gets back.”

“But, officer, I just wanted to say,”

“And I said be quiet! You’re going to jail!”

A few hours later the officer looked in on his prisoner and said, “Lucky for you, the chief’s at his daughter’s wedding so he’ll be in a good mood when he gets back.”

“Don’t count on it,” answered the guy in the cell. “I’m the groom.”

Krispy Kremes

We missed out on the Jetstar Sale last night. 30 000 seats on certain domestic flights for only $3. This includes the taxes. Its cheaper than Baskin Robin ice cream!! Most flights were already booked when I found out about the offer but I still managed to grab hold of a flight from Gold Coast to Sydney on 21 Nov for 5 people and from Sydney back to Gold Coast on 28 Nov for also, 5 people. Since I needed to get confirmation from the others before purchasing, I contacted everyone. Feezal and Hjh were up for it but Isz didnt want to go and Ben... we somehow could not contact him. Hearing this, Hjh changed her mind too and in the end it was just me and Feezal. The confirmation took ages that somebody else grabbed the seats :( I was and am still frustrated.

Anyway, I've just received an email from Krispy Kremes. They are coming to Brisbane for a day!!! They will be at Queen St on Friday 4th May. However, in order to get ur hands on the doughnuts, you have to fill in an order form of minimum 3 dozens of KK (all together costs $60) and send it to them by 3rd May. Here's the email:
