Lazy Break

Officially on semester break now!!

I dont have any interesting story to tell other than I got a guitar and a haircut lol. Oh, also a new phone. So far, I've spent my holidays learning to play guitar, playing poker, playing games on xbox/ps/xbox360, exploring new places, watching movies and staying in bed under the doona. Yes, I think it is going to be a very lazy semester break (blame the weather).

Yay exam's over!! It has been over since Friday afternoon. I still dont have any plan for the semester break other than learning to play drums and guitar. We got our drums on Thursday =) They make sweet sound hehe I havent got much chance to mess around with it though, the other two are quite attached to it. It doesnt bother me that much... I just cant wait to get my guitar next week.

On Saturday, I went to Brissy with Hjh to meet up with my sis's friend, Maria. Deny sent me cake and some biscuits hehe thank you very mucho! Then I surprised Mea hehe the plan did not quite work out cos I was at the wrong place lol. Anyway, she was still surprised and we had lunch at the famous St Lucia Nando's. They owe me Nando's fix or gum (?) whatever it is.

Girls' Day Out

Instead of studying yesterday, Hjh and I went to Surfers Paradise for the Girls' Day Out event. We've been looking forward to it since we've registered for it online. The event kicked off with Walking Fashion Tour at at 10am. We were given pink goodie bags consisted of discount vouchers, a bottle of green tea drink, cookies, lip balm etc etc. Hjh and I were so excited, we were jumping with joy hehe but we knew it was just the beginning. The tour was led by a well-known radio presenter and it took only 30 mins. During the tour, we got another goodie bag filled with discount vouchers and we met a Singaporean journalist for Her World. We had a chat which ended up with her taking a picture of us and asking us a couple questions. The article will be out hopefully in August or September so watch out! I might be in it hehe.

After the tour, we were on our own. Hjh and I went to Mecca Cosmetica first. We were given 15 mins facial using high-end brands. I am talking Philosophy. Yes, Oprah's favourite! It was so damn good... and so damn expensive. Right after that, we went to NV Lifestyle to get our hair styled. We were again given another goodie bag filled with discount vouchers, cookies, a mug, a visor hat, a pair of earrings, a bottle of water etc etc. It did not stop there. They served us mocktail while we have our hair styled. The mocktail was yummy and... my hairstyler is cute: John, 20 hehe Anyway, I wanted something different for my hair so he curled it with GHD.. Love it! Love it so much that everytime there was a mirror somewhere, I could not stop looking at it haha we were so vain.

After the hairstyling, Hjh and I got glitter tattoo on our neck. The lady said they last up to 4 days Yay. It was so cute that we got another one from onother tattoo booth hehe. We also had a couple more glasses of mocktail. We spent the rest of the day, walking around Surfers Paradise, using our discount vouchers, watching Devil Wears Prada on the huge Cavill screen, going gaga over this cute model on the runway and looking at the mirror haha.

I am in a band lol Hard to believe eh?

I was talking to my net friends about it and they were like "I've never even heard u talk and now ur already singing?!" lol

The truth is I am learning how to play drums but in the meantime I am doing a bit of singing.

But yea, this is gunna be a cool project for my semester break =)

Speaking of mouth ulcer, it's so weird how 2 people who live an hour away from each other can have mouth ulcer at the same time. Hehe you know who you are =P
